Below we provide a list of items we hope to cover in a Free Consultation. We have also provided a list of documentation that is helpful in assessing in-place technology.

|Conduct an inside-out basic analysis of your existing network and structure starting with modem and routing equipment (the gateway to the outside world).|
|Inspect current server configuration if present.|
|Inspect server backup configuration and performance.|
|Inspect current network or Windows Domain configuration.|
|Perform a basic inspection of attached workstations including PCs and Macs.|
|Inspect peripheral equipment including printers, scanners, and copiers.|
|Discuss with client the performance of any existing remote workstations.|
|Perform a basic inspection of new technology integration – tablets, smart phones, etc.|
During your Chip & Bytes Free IT Consultation it helps to provide any documentation you have about your existing technology, even if that documentation is outdated. If you do not have this information, a Chip & Bytes technician will help to assemble it. On future visits a Chip & Bytes technician will help to organize your past information along with any new documentation into a single convenient resource.

|Information about your network and any past problems.|
|Any documentation on past or current issues with connected workstations.|
|Information on any issues with connecting emerging technologies including tablets and phones.|
